GNO in OKC

Well, it's not exactly a Girls Night Out, but it is a weekend road trip and I can't wait!

Philippians 2:1-4 says,

"If you've gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends."

I am blessed beyond what I deserve with friends like the ones Paul refers to in the above verse. Four wild and crazy ladies (lol) are headed to Oklahoma City tomorrow for Women of Faith 2008! I am so EXCITED! AKP, DJS, JTP and I are leaving at 6:00 in the morning, which means yes, we are all taking the day off of school! We are going to the Pre-Conference and are spending the night at the Crowne Plaza. Then, Saturday is the Conference and I can't wait! I went to Women of Faith three years ago in Houston. My mom went with me and it was spectacular! I'm hoping we will be able to do a little bit of shopping Saturday afternoon after the conference is over. And the cherry on top is we get to eat somewhere great, which is always a treat when you live in a small town in the middle of nowhere! I wonder where we'll go?

We are all a bit burned out on school and each of us has good reason to need a break from the everyday and just get away with good girlfriends!

So, if you're headed to OKC, we'll see you on the road!
