Show Us Your Life: Where Do You Shop?

Today's Show Us Your Life topic over at Kelly's Korner is Where Do You Shop?  I like this one because I like getting new ideas.  So, here are a few of my favorite places! 

For clothes, I have a few regulars I really can count on.  These obviously include TARJAY, my favorite, favorite place when it comes to shopping inexpensively but when you want a bit more quality than Wal-Mart.  Speaking of, I have started LOVING Wal-Mart.com.  Y'all if you haven't at least tried it (and don't be too proud, there's no shame in saving a little $$ here and there), you MUST go.  Over the holidays I was desperate for some little dresses I could just throw tights under with tall boots and go.  I found a style for $7 and bought 4 colors!  HA! 

However, I have to say my very favorite place to shop for clothes is Ann Taylor Loft!  Girls, they've got some GORGEOUS stuff and when you can find a sale, which is almost always, you can really get good deals.  And guys, they've got some GORGEOUS stuff for that special someone (Valentine's Day is just around the corner). Over the holidays they were having a %50 off all sweaters so while we were in Dallas I loaded up on some super-cute sweaters and such.  Did I say their stuff was GORGEOUS yet?   I also got a precious dress off the final sale rack for $19 that I love and is so cute!

Other stores you might find me in are The Gap (again, when they're having good sales, especially), Kohl's and TJ Maxx.  I also shop Old Navy for good 'ol standards like white tees and long-sleeve undershirts which I wear all the time! 

I used to only wear Gap jeans, but a little over a year ago I was introduced to my new favorite jean store and I don't think I'll ever shop anywhere else for them.  I own two pair of Buckle jeans and I L-O-V-E them!  A friend urged me to try them after I was complaining about not finding jeans I really liked.  I CANNOT wear high-waisted anything, but I also was tired of trying on jeans that showed WAY too much in WAY too many places because they were so low cut!  My favorite style jean at The Buckle are Big Star in Casey K and I buy longs because I am a fairly long-legged 5'6" and like to wear boots quite a bit.  And don't even think I'm going to tell you what size I wear!  Pffffttthhhttt....as if! 

When you go in, don't be discouraged if you have to try on 25+ pairs of jeans to find the perfect ones for you (I did, seriously), because once you find them, you'll never have to search again.  A couple of months ago, I walked right into The Buckle and said, "I need a pair of Big Star-Casey K in ___ Long, and in a darker wash than the ones I have on."  It was that simple.  In and out in 15 minutes!  SWEET!

Some of my new favorite stores I've just discovered are Charming Charlie (for all your accessory needs) and Francesca's.  My friend Suz always talks about Francesca's on her blog, and while in Dallas I had to stop in and look around.  It was definitely right up my alley with cute and comfy attire!  I didn't buy anything, but I was in a hurry.
