How far along: 14 Weeks today!
Size of Baby: The babies are about the size of a lemon and weight about 1.5 ounces.
Total Weight Gain/Lost: I gained 1 pound since last Thursday. That brings my total to somewhere around 6-8 pounds, give or take? ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrMZzKtpV2uya6BRcl8NhQEWoCB2VmRX6j8a8gOE1K1oAGCBwUrxzAX-rci1Qol5giqe0RkMc__bk1gNslWqfF1QIULsf4RIq9DXVt-ss-lav2znpz4YMHz49BK-XwEKpY46Ri/s320/lemon.jpg)

Maternity Clothes:Yes, most of the time, unless I wear a dress. My mom came to town Thursday and she brought two bags full of clothes she bought. They are so cute! I can't wait to wear them!
Gender: We know Baby B is a boy, and we're still not sure about Baby A (hopefully we will know for sure at my 16 week appointment on the 22nd).
Movement: Not yet, but I can't wait for that!
Sleep: Um, some nights I sleep great. Others, not so great because I'm up to pee, or just am achy in my hips and joints. BUT, my mom bought me a SNOOGLE and it's amazing!
What I Miss: Right now, I miss feeling rested.
Cravings: Not much this week. I've been really thirsty for juice but that's about it.
Symptoms: Mainly just tired and a little emotional, but things are starting to even out, I think. :)
Best moment for this week: Hearing the baby's heartbeats THREE times today and knowing the cerclage surgery was successful and smooth. One more safety net to keep those babies snug for as long as possible!

I'm just now seeing that you're pregnant!!! Congratulations!!!! That is such wonderful news! Can't wait to follow along! I will keep you and the babies in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the surgery went well!
ReplyDeleteAnd I just have to say that I laughed when I read that you miss feeling rested. I think I felt rested once back in 2007! ;-) Everyone always says getting no sleep during pregnancy is God's way of preparing you for being a mommy, and I think they're right. Hang in there! It will fly by now that you're in your second trimester. Praying for you!
I remember all I ever wanted was juice!
ReplyDeleteI haven't checked your blog in a while, and when I checked just now and saw your wonderful news, I couldn't believe it!!!!!! Congratulations! I have been a "lurker" on your blog for a long time. I initially found it when I was going through infertility also. I read faithfully and have got to tell you how much I admired your faith. I prayed for you lots and lots. I was blessed with a baby girl 4 months ago. I will continue to pray that you have a healthy pregnancy! Lots of love from South Dakota!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome that we will both be Mary in our church's Christmas plays!
ReplyDeleteYay for 14 weeks!! I have to say though....I am a little disappointed to see pictures of lemons. I want to see your cute little pregnant self!!!! Miss y'all!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing as Alicia! You might want to get used to not feeling rested. :-) When I stop and think about how little sleep I live on, it's really amazing that I'm still moving! But it's a really good feeling to know that I'm doing everything I can for my kiddos. You'll love it!
