Pups and Stuff

Pups

I took Maggie and Marlee to get haircuts yesterday. I usually cut them myself but haven't had the time nor the energy, mainly energy, and it was totally worth it to me this time (especially Marlee because she absolutely hates it)!! Anyway, they look so adorable! Here are some pics!

Stuff

The church we've been attending for the last few months, First Baptist, had a movie night Sunday for evening service. So, Richard and I decided to go because neither of us had seen the movie they were showing, Facing the Giants. Wow! This movie was great. Don't misunderstand me...when I say "great" I don't mean they were "great" actors/actresses, not even in the least. But, as the storyline unfolded, you began to forget the actors weren't professionals (of course Hollywood big names wouldn't touch this screenplay with a ten foot pole)! We were enthralled the whole time, laughing and crying, learning and worshiping along with the characters. If you've never seen it, do it! It is an inspirational film...so much so, Richard and I now own it (that's another story in itself...see next post).

  3. We absolutely loved this movie too. At first I thought it was going to be really corny, but as the plot developed we were intrigued. They did an absolutely phenomenal job.
