OK Ladies and Gents. It is the Christmas Edition of "Get to know your fellow Bloggers". How this works...I will answer the questions and then I will "Tag" a couple of my fellow bloggers for them to answer these questions on their blog. And then they will tag someone else, and so on and so on. So here we go.
1) Wrapping paper or gift bags? I really love wrapping paper because I love to see it all over the floor when we're finished opening gifts!
2) Real or Artificial tree? Artificial now, but growing up we had a real one and I loved it!
3) When do you put your tree up? Well, usually sometime during the week after Thanksgiving. This year it was this Sunday.
4) When do you take your tree down? Oh, when I get around to it, but usually a few days after the New Year.
5) Do you like eggnog? A little, but not so much to request it or drink cups and cups.
6)Favorite gift received as a child? Trampoline!!
7) Hardest person to buy for? My dad, father-in-law and brother! Absolutely impossible!
8) Easiest person to buy for? Dawn
9) Do you have a nativity scene? Yes! It was one of my favorite wedding gifts...we got a Willow Tree Nativity and I have added pieces to it here and there during the last six years. I love it!
10) Mail or e-mail Christmas Cards? Mail
11) Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Hmm...can't think of one right now. Well, Richard did get me one of those little pads to set in your seat while you drive that massages your legs and heats up. His intentions were great because I always sleep in the car and I am always cold but I haven't really used it much. I feel guilty, but it's kind of a pain to put it in and out of the car all the time.
12) Favorite Christmas Movie? White Christmas! I watch it every year while I decorate! And then at least one more time during the holidays!
13) When do you start shopping for Christmas? Hmm, depends on how crazy of a year it is. This year I started last weekend. Last year I started before Thanksgiving.
14) Do you hang mistletoe? Yes.
15) Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? turkey and giblet gravy
16) Lights on tree? Well, we have a pre-lit tree that has multi-colored lights on it (hand-me-down) but I prefer white lights, so I string them with white and don't turn on the multi-colored.
17) Favorite Christmas Song? O' Holy Night
18) Travel at Christmas or stay home? both-we switch every year where we are on Christmas day and then wherever we weren't for Christmas Day, we go afterwards and stay for the New Year. Now that we live in the same town as my in-laws, it makes it pretty easy on the years when we're here.
19) Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prance, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph
20) Angel or Star on top of tree? Star
21) Open the presents Christmas Eve or Morning? We do some with my mom's side of the family on Christmas Eve. THen, we have stockings and Santa on Christmas morning.
22) Most annoying thing about this time of year? How wrapped up we all get with getting the perfect gift for someone.
23) Favorite ornament theme or color? Willow Tree
24) Favorite for Christmas Dinner? See #15
26) What do you want for Christmas this year? To be with family
26) Who do you Tag to answer these on their blog? Donna, Amy D., Steph, Kristie, Sharon, Amy H., Trey

Hey, Charla........it's Carli's Honeyma. I hope after the holidays that you could help me with my blog. I 'm having a hard time and I hear you are the best one to teach. I still have my thanksgiving deocration on it and can't get it off. Lana thinks I'm not trying. I just need a little help. Hope your Christmas is the best ever. Lana was right about the gifts. I can't wait to read you blog each time I see you've posted.
ReplyDeleteloved reading this...we do have a lot in common! Hey Jerriann just set up a blog (there is a link on my blog). She wanted to what website to go to jazz up her blog. I told her you were the woman to go to! Maybe you could leave her a comment with some info????
ReplyDeleteYour Hannah comment is so sweet. That picture absolutely cracks me up too. =) Wait until you get your Christmas card - same facial expression, different outfit. Ha!
ReplyDeleteThere's just something about that costume picture, though. Chris said he goes back and looks at it over and over at work, and Amy sent it to all of her colleagues who then printed and posted it on their bulletin board at school. So funny. That picture just captures her personality - she's a total goofball. =)
Hey just found you through Kelly's Korner. I liked getting to know you Christmas style. My favorite gift as a child was a trampoline too! I'll be back...
