Quickly

Shots are going well.  McHotterson has actually given me the last two nights' doses, and he's done well.  My bum is SO sore; I didn't sleep much last night because of it.  Tonight I will take some Tylenol before I get in bed.

Today was the first day of in-service, meaning my summer is officially over.  Part of me is of course totally sick at the thought of going back to school.  But the other part of me is ready for the schedule and routine of another school year.

We have lots of changes, mostly good, coming to the 09-10 year.

Not much more to report on, I guess.

Oh, for you prayer warriors out there, I briefly mentioned a few posts back about my dad being diagnosed with prostate cancer.  Well, his surgery has been scheduled for September 21, so all prayers and positive thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I'm off to get ready for sorority meeting tonight!

Toodles.

  1. Have you tried jimica? Peel it, cut into french fry shapes. Put it in a ziplock to get really cold. Snack on it all you want. It's like a light crisp candy.
All good thoughts going to your Dad and you two!

  2. I came across your blog yesterday. . .very cute! I just wanted to offer some encouragement with your IVF and let you know that I'll keep you in my prayers. I struggled with infertility for a short time, and I know it's a very difficult, emotional journey.

Also, my dad was also diagnosed with prostate cancer in February. He had surgery in March and has been cancer-free since. It's a scary thing to go through, but it's manageable. Will keep you and your family in my prayers. God bless. . .
