Don't Let the Polka Dots Fool You...

**UPDATE**  I was reading this post again and realized just how selfish I sound.  I am so ashamed of myself.  I have prayed and begged, and longed for a baby belly like this for 4 years.  I praise God in heaven for forming these babies in my womb and I truly and honestly do thank Him every night as I'm climbing into bed, for my big belly.  Some days I'm overwhelmed with thankfulness and completely humbled by God's mercy for us, and I never, EVER want to take it for granted.

Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

...there's a lot more belly under there than it appears!  :)  Many of you have requested a belly shot, so here is the first official foto (only official because I'm publishing it...I've taken a few others before).

14 weeks 2 days. 

Now, mind you, this is the end of the day so my tummy is much bigger at this time of day.

Oh, who am I kidding, it's big regardless!

All I ask you keep in mind is I am having twins.

Did you get that?  It's twins.  Yes, I'm 14 weeks.  Yes, I'm that big.  Yes, I'm having TWINS. 

In all my glory, in my classroom at the end of the day.  With my TWIN belly!  :)  Everything is backwards because I took the photo with my Photobooth on my computer.

  2. If you ever feel "too big" (which btw, you look awesome!!!) I'll send you a pic from when I was preggo with Micah. When I delivered him at 39 weeks, I was measuring 45 weeks. :-) 11lbs of baby!

    Grow, babies, GROW!!! You're makin' your momma look like one adorable pregnant lady!

  3. You look soooo cute! Love the outfit and the belly! Glad they are growing well. At least you don't have to worry about your stomach sticking out..it is supposed to...let it all hang out:) Just wait until you try to squeeze through somewhere you used to fit through..like between tables/chairs at a restuarant...funny moments.

  7. Oh, girl! You don't sound ungrateful at all! Twin pregnancies are something to behold, alright! You might not feel so chipper after someone rudely asks for the millionth time, "Are you having TWINS???"

    I think you look beautiful. And pregnant! Ain't it grand???

    Keep up the pics...I love these updates! I've been praying for you, too, I just wanted you to know. I meant to tell you that on facebook, but forgot.

  8. I don't think there is anyone who doubts how grateful you are! You look great and I'm so terribly excited for you! I didn't realize you already knew one was a boy! I'm hoping for a girl for you as well, but I will definitely say I absolutely ADORE my "little" boy! Aubree on the other hand knows how to push every button I have. ;-) But I'm very thankful for the little button-pusher too!

  13. I think u look very beautiful and God knows that u appreciate his gift. He also knows that for carrying that gift u need to not be so hard on urself for when u are not at ur best in ur thinking. :)

  14. Oh, girl, you look GREAT!!!! I remember thinking I wasn't too big when I was pregnant with the girls. Comparing last time with this time I realize I was huge! You will get all kinds of insensitive comments but remember you are full of two miracles right now!

    So, tell me, do you want to slap people when they want to touch your belly, or is it okay with you? BIG question that people NEED to know!! :) Cause, in all honesty, the other day I had to MAKE myself not reach out and rub your belly!! :) SORRY!! I think this should be the title of your next post...to rub or not to rub, that is the question! ha.ha.ha. LOVE YOU!
