How far along: 22 Weeks Today!
Size of Babies: They weigh about 1 POUND each and are about 11 inches long, the size of a spaghetti squash.
Size of Babies: They weigh about 1 POUND each and are about 11 inches long, the size of a spaghetti squash.
Total Weight Gain/Lost: About 25 pounds, and I'm starting to feel it, especially in my back and I can see it in my face.
Maternity Clothes: YES! I can still wear t-shirts (no more smalls, though), but most of my wardrobe is spent in maternity and/or pajamas!
Gender: Baby A is a GIRL (Reese Kathleen) and Baby B is a BOY (Truett Zeldon)
Movement: Yes! They are really starting to move, but of course it's not nearly enough for me! While I've been at my parents for post-Christmas and New Year's celebrations, the family has been able to see my belly moving as they do. Pretty fun and special.
Sleep: I've slept much better than last week because my allergies/cold has gotten much better, but my back has been hurting again so sleep is good and not-so good, depending on the night. Of course being away from my own bed is never fun, most especially since I've been pregnant.
What I Miss: Definitely miss sleeping on my stomach and I have to admit, I missed toasting the new year with a glass of champagne, but that wasn't a big deal. I miss stamina for sure. :)
Cravings: Mexican food, fruit, DQ Blizzards.
Symptoms: Just back pain this week for the most part.
Best moment for this week: Getting so many wonderful gifts for Reese and Truett during our Christmas celebrations. We, and they, are so very blessed!

22 weeks already??? That's awesome!!! Praying for many many more and that you can feel as comfortable as possible!
ReplyDeleteI totally thought I was following your blog and had even wondered a while back why you weren't blogging any more. Then your sister posted and said something about you being pregnant and I thought, "well my word! I've got to check and see if maybe I'm not following Charla after all!" And I wasn't!
ReplyDeleteSo CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Sooooo happy for you! I craved mexican and ice cream like it was my job! Eat it while you can! I haven't had mexican since I delivered Molly and haven't had ice cream since mid July. I'm breast feeding and she has a super sensitive tummy, so NOTHING spicy and no dairy for me! :)
Enjoy this precious time!!
