An EASY Recipe You Must Try!!

We are in the middle of a total kitchen remodel in mi casita, so I'm having to be VERY creative when it comes to making meals for mi familia (are you liking my Spanish, or non-Espanol maybe?).

I've been resorting to using the toaster oven for baking, broiling and toasting and the microwave for boiling, and frying.

So, tonight I thought I'd use the crockpot to make dinner.  I LOVE the Crockin' Girls and have followed them since they were just some gals on Facebook.  Now they have a website (click here), and a book of recipes, which I hope to get my hands on sometime in the near future.

Anywho, I perused the Facebook page and found a recipe I hadn't tried yet (if you go, I highly recommend trying the Crockin' Chops, Carnitas, and the Pork BBQ, made with pork tenderloin...yum, yum).  Tonight's recipe is sweetly named "My Husband's Favorite" and I can see why!  Oh my goodness, y'all, it was DEEEELISHUS!!  I think I saw it called Angel Chicken somewhere, as well.

So, here's what ya need:
-1 can golden mushroom soup
-1/2 c. white cooking wine (I didn't have nearly enough...like hardly any...so I substituted chicken broth)
-1/4 c. butter
-1 pkg of cream cheese (I used the 1/3 fat, and while it tasted great, it didn't dissolve completely so if that bothers you, using the full-fat version would probably help)
-4 chicken breasts
-OPTIONAL: 1 pkg Italian dressing mix (the recipe didn't call for this, but I thought it sounded good, so I threw it in for grins)

Here's what ya do:
-Throw it all in a crockpot.
-Cook on low for 5 hours.
-Serve over angel hair pasta.

I wish I had a picture of how pretty it looked, but my mind wasn't thinking ahead...what's new?!

Anyone have any great crockpot recipes they'd love to share?  I'm thinking we might be needing a few more before this remodel is all said and done.  :)
