Journal Questions

I got this from Alicia's blog...I have time to waste now that Christmas break has started, so I thought I would do it. I liked it because it isn't the same old questions you see on the others!

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4. On the 18th page, the 4th line says“…we go say of me, 'He is my broth..'"
2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What can you touch? the desk and computer screen
3. What is the last thing you watched on TV? Golden Girls or Frasier on Lifetime...I was finishing a book at the same time, so I can't remember which was last!
4. Without looking, guess what time it is. 10:10 a.m.
5. Now look at the clock. What is the actual time? 10:04 a.m.
6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear? the washing machine (what's new?)
7. When did you last step outside and what were you doing? Last night either to pull my car into the garage, or to get some firewood.
8. Before you started this survey, what did you look at? Friends' blogs
9. What are you wearing? long-sleeved Marlin bulldogs tshirt (from my first teaching job), black sweats and my tennis shoes.
10. Did you dream last night? Yes, and I remembered it this morning, but it's gone now.
11. When did you last laugh? Last night when Marlee jumped up on the couch for the first time ever...she has since to do it again, and I have a sneaking suspicion her motivation was the food I had in my hand! She was so cute, though!
12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?I'm in the office, so it has 3 brownish-grey walls and one red one, diplomas, saber from Will's Air Force Academy days, and a couple of other hangings.
13. Seen anything weird lately? At our staff Christmas party, one of the gifts was this angel. She looked kind of "country" but the weird part was she had her hands in the air and was doing the splits AND she was missing one eye. SO, we decided she was going to become One-Eyed Wanda, the angel who mysteriously appears in your classroom and we are going to continue secretly passing her around the school for the whole year. We'll see how long it lasts!
14. What do you think of this quiz? Great excuse not to pick up my house, which is what I was about to start when I checked my blog...thank you, Alicia!
15. What is the last film you saw? Charlotte's Web last Sunday with Richard in Amarillo...it was great!
16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy? A bigger house with more storage in the kitchen, and I would hire a maid, landscaper, and interior designer. Really, I just want the maid (she would come once a day while I was at work and would be gone when I got home so that my house was cleaned, laundry was done, and dinner was cooking in the oven).
17. Tell me something about you that I don’t know. When I was little, I wanted to be a singing cowgirl. I would spend hours in my room, recording my voice on my purple tape player or recording songs I liked from the radio so I could practice singing them later.
18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do? I would get rid of party politics...I hate that our nation claims to be one, but then our so-called leaders can't make even the smallest decisions because they can't imagine "giving in" to the other side! No wonder things don't get done on Capital Hill!
19. Do you like to dance? Yes, I've always loved to dance!
20. George Bush:You mean what do I think about him? I like that he is convicted, and sticks to his guns...stands up for what he believes in, even when the majority is against him. That makes a leader (I admit, he could work on his public speaking).
21. Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her? dunno
22. Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him? ditto the dunno
23. Would you ever consider living abroad? Oh, yes, but not permanently. I would consider it for a short period of time, maybe 1-5 years or so, but then I would want to be back in Texas!
24. What do you want God to say to you when you reach the pearly gates? Come on in, we've been expecting you!
25. Four or five people who must also do this quiz in their journal. I don’t pass these things on. If you want to do it, please feel free. If not, no pressure.

  1. Yay! I'm glad you got some use out of this. I love looking on people's blogs and seeing new posts. So, assuming other people are the same, I try to update mine as frequently as possible, but sometimes I just have nothing to share. So this was a fun way to do so.
