Shout out to F3 and my calves!

Okay, all you fellow bloggers that were in Steph's Wednesday aerobics class, I need some support! Am I the only one who is STILL dying after that workout? I can't imagine how I would feel if I was actually able to keep up with everyone, but I seriously am such a white girl when it comes to aerobics. I am so uncoordinated and half the time am going the complete opposite direction I'm supposed to be. But everyone just encourages me right along, and only laughs behind my back and not in my face! LOL!

The first day after, Thursday, I was miserable pretty much all over, but today it's just my legs. Really, it's my legs from the knee to the ankle. Every time I take a step it feels like someone is pulling the tendons in ways they should never be pulled, especially in the middle and top of my calf.

So, Steph, you know I love you and I'm so thankful for the gym and the workout you gave us all on Wednesday. But good grief...I'm dying! Will the pain ever go away? And how is it I've been working out again for 3 weeks now and this is the first time I'm feeling it this badly? I know I sound like such a big sissy!

All that said, I really am thankful for our gym. I brought my mom in just for a quick tour before I worked out last weekend while they were visiting. She was amazed at how nice and equipped it was. They live in a town 3x bigger than C-town and don't have a gym nearly as nice.

I guess with every step I take, and every pain that shoots up my leg, I am one "step" closer to my goal and to lookin' good on my 30th and on our cruise!

All that complaining just to say, "See you all on Wednesday!"

  2. Oh no, your not sore I am sore.I did the class then first thing Thursday morning I had my training session with Steph. It was great but I can SO sore. The best cure for this is ice packs on your sore spots for 20 minutes on then 20 min. off repeat. It will make a huge difference. See ya in the next class. LOL

  3. LOL. You crack me up! This reminds me of my last aerobics debacle. I used to kick total bootie in aerobics in the late 90's! I was the best in class. So, I thought it would be a cinche getting back into it....wow...wrong. They have changed everything - and I was horrible for about 2 months! The routines were so crazy and i kept spinning the wrong way, etc. There were guys in my class who were incorporating high kicks!
So hang in there, and before you know it, you'll be totally awesome!

ps - tell us about this cruise?! Where are you and Rich going?
    Houston! Yay! I can't wait! LOL. I wish :)

Love and have a super day!

  4. Good for you! As for the pic of the whole family all dressed up...somehow I didn't get one. I had every intention at the wedding, but then my battery died! Stay tuned, hopefully soon I'll have one. I don't think we've even taken one all together...the professional photographer got one..maybe I'll get that one somehow. I told Lane we needed one!
