"Cowgirl is an attitude, really. A pioneer spirit, a special American brand of courage. The cowgirl faces life head on, lives by her own lights, and makes no excuses. Cowgirls take stands. They speak up. They defend the things they hold dear. A cowgirl might be a rancher, or a barrel racer, or a bull rider, or an actress. But she's just as likely to be a checker at the local Winn Dixie, a full-time mother, a banker, an attorney, or an astronaut." - Dale Evans Rogers, Los Angeles, 1992
I have been meaning to post you back for a while now, but I got busy with life for a couple of weeks...happens! :) Thank you for the sweet comment about Sadie. I am not certain that I know your SIL, but your husband looks so dang familiar to me. I just can't put my finger on it. I've tried thinking about how I would possibly know him, but whatever. I did go to A&M, class of '01, same as you. It is such a small world....and A&M seems to make things smaller, huh? It's amazing who knows who in the Aggie network. My husband and Jill's brother were roommates at A&M...that's how I know Jill. Aaron lived next to them for a while on River Road.
Anywho, thanks for the sweet comment. I'm going to keep thinking on how I know you, but until then, I'll enjoy reading more of your wonderful blog....LOVE, love the design! Too cute!
