Tonight is a great night for television. American Idol continues, as does the Biggest Loser (and this season is FULL of DUH-RAH-MA...hello, Miggy and Migdalia).
However, what I'm most looking forward to is the premiere of the LAST SEASON (sniff-sniff) of our favorite show, Lost.
I can't believe this is the last season, and yet it is definitely time. I won't even try to begin to explain the plot of the show, but I will tell you if you haven't ever seen it, I highly recommend renting the DVDs of each season and starting from the beginning. You will be SUCKED IN!!!! Oooh, so good.
To everything there is a season, I suppose. I ended 2009 with a new favorite, GLEE! And I will begin 2010 saying goodbye to a goodie, LOST! But I won't grab the tissues yet...I've got a whole season to enjoy before it's time for that!
I'm kind of a t.v. junkie. I'm tempted to feel bad about that, but ever the optimist I'll just say there could be worse things, right? Just keepin' it real.
I'm interested...what are your favorite shows?

I'm equally excited about LOST. Check out how I equated it to TTC-waiting in my post today. :)
ReplyDeleteWe record Idol and the Biggest Loser ... and Lea likes LOST, so the dvr is hopping tonight.
ReplyDeleteBTW: I think the biggest loser is much better when you watch while eating a bowl of cereal :)
We are crazy about Lost! Watching Biggest Loser right now...I have to wait until Cody gets home from B-Ball to watch the Lost premiere. I also am a fan of pretty much anything on Bravo :)
ReplyDeleteWe love Biggest Loser, American Idol, and Glee is my new favorite. Somehow I never got into Lost. I'm also a huge Survivor and The Amazing Race fan, which those start soon. I'm a reality TV junky. There's a new show called American Pickers, that follows two guys that go around looking for antiques and junk to resale. Believe it or not its really interesting, lots of history in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a tv junkie too and tend to catch the shows online as the UK is about 3 months behind...that's IF they even show the shows here. My most recent shows are Good Wife, Trauma, and Mercy while the 'old' shows of Brothers & Sisters, Private Practice, and The Office tend to hold me. ER was my ultimate fav though and I was a dedicated fan! Not tempted to get into Lost though...it seems like I'd end up losing many weekends watching it...and can't bring myself to venture down that path.
ReplyDeleteFavorite shows...Hmm? 24, Biggest Loser, The Bachelor-(hate to say it, but trying to keep it real;), Criminal Minds, 19 kids and counting, Friday night lights.
ReplyDeleteThe three I DVR are NCIS, Lie to Me, and House- I saw the last two episodes of Glee and I think I will add it to my list when the new season starts. I rarely sit down to watch TV live, so the DVR is my best TV pal.
ReplyDeleteI like American Idol and The Biggest Loser, too. But, I DON'T MISS A SINGLE EPISODE OF LOST! I had no idea that Richard and you watched it. It's my absolute favorite show of all time. As soon as this season ends I am going to get the DVDs and watch every season all over again and see what I catch that I may have missed the first time around. Especially since I will know how it ended. Hate to see it go, though!
ReplyDeleteHi there! Enjoyed a first visit here.
ReplyDeleteGlad you found my Texas-Blogging Gals. Come over to my personal blog real soon!
I'm also a TV junkie!!! It's ok..like you said there are worse things to be addicted to!! My faves are Criminal Minds, Law and Order...all three of them, Big Brother in the summer time....the Amazing Race and Celebrity Apprentice. My DVR is pretty full!! Did you know that Jordan and Jeff are going to be on the Amazing Race?? It's starts next week! Oh, and my new fave is Glee....love that show!!
ReplyDeleteOMG - Biggest Loser promises to be the biggest, baddest, most dramatic yet...Miggy & Migdalia are really pent up, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE LOST! So sad it is the last season...I am curious as to what they are doing with the flashes to life without the crash and life on the island after the bomb went off. Interesting...We also enjoy Chuck (is is so funny), Castle and the Thursday night NBC line-up: Parks and Recreation, The Office and 30-Rock. :)
